Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. lemon juice
4 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 c. milk
dash of salt
sifted icing sugar
Preparation

Measure sugar.
Take out 2 tablespoons of it and set aside. Cream butter and rest of sugar. Beat in egg yolks.
Add lemon peel.
Stir in flour, just until mixed.
Add milk and lemon juice. Stir well.
