Devilish Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine, butter or shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. pumpkin (preferably fresh), cooked and drained
    3 1/2 c. unbleached flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix in pumpkin.
    In separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except for nuts and chocolate chips.
    Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture, a little at a time; blend thoroughly.
    Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
    Pour in batter, dividing evenly.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
    This can be prepared a day ahead.
    Will last 1 to 2 weeks if wrapped and refrigerated.
