Barley Pilaff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. mushrooms
1/4 lb. butter
2 medium onions, chopped
1 3/4 c. pearl barley
4 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Saute mushrooms and onions in half of the butter.
When tender, place in casserole.
Cook barley in remaining butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until almond colored.
Add to ingredients in casserole and mix together.
Pour broth over all and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
Cover for first half of cooking time.
