Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. light brown sugar
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 well beaten egg whites
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, water and vinegar.
Cook until syrup forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
Pour syrup over beaten egg whites.
Beat continually until candy is stiff enough to hold its shape, then work in nuts and vanilla.
Drop with teaspoon onto waxed paper.
