Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. popped corn (in large roaster pan)
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of cream of tartar
    1 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook the sugar, corn syrup and butter over medium heat until soft ball stage, stirring often.
    Remove from heat.
    Add soda and cream of tartar (will get foamy).
    Drizzle syrup over popcorn, stirring to coat each kernel.
    Put in 200\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring often.
    Store in airtight container.
