Brown Sugar Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup.
    Slowly bring to a boil and cook until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Beat egg whites with the cream of tartar.
    Slowly add syrup and beat until firm.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper.
