Onion Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium onions, diced
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Simmer diced onions in melted margarine until golden, but not brown.
    Combine eggs, milk and seasonings, then add onion mixture. Bake in a greased 1-quart casserole in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 25 minutes or until custard is set.
    Serve hot.
