Crispy Zucchini Spears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium zucchini, cut lengthwise into spears
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 Tbsp. milk
    enough oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine egg and milk in a small bowl.
    In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
    Roll each zucchini spear in egg/milk mixture, then coat well in flour mixture.
    Cook in hot oil until crisp and brown.
