White Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Great Northern beans
    8 c. water
    1/2 lb. salt pork
    3 onions, quartered
    16 oz. can chopped tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. parsley
    2 bouillon cubes
    1 bay leaf
    1 large garlic
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight.
    Keep 3 cups liquid.
    Add bouillon cubes.
    Rinse pork, dry and cut into 1-inch strips. Brown in oil until crispy.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until beans are tender.
    Good in crock-pot.
