Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (No. 303) can fruit
Preparation
    Butter baking pan.
    In medium bowl mix fruit and 1/2 cup sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Pour in pan.
    In large bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, butter, egg and vanilla.
    Spread over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Serve with topping or ice cream.
    Serves 4.
