Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 slices candied pineapple
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 lb. red candied cherries
    1/4 lb. green candied cherries
    1/2 lb. chopped dates
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
Preparation
    Cut pineapple and cherries into small pieces.
    Cream Crisco and brown sugar lightly.
    Add all ingredients and mix well.
    Drop by spoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until light brown, about 15 minutes.
    Makes about 100 cookies.
