Strawberry Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries, sliced (frozen)
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 angel food cake, torn into pieces
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 1/4 cups of boiling water.
    Add partially frozen strawberries and sugar. Cool until mixture starts to thicken.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Cover bottom of 9-inch pan with torn pieces of cake.
    Pour half of strawberry mixture over the cake. Continue with second layer of cake pieces and remainder of strawberry mixture.
    Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
