Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. diced onions
1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 eggs, beaten well
1 c. scalded milk
Preparation

Saute onions in butter slowly.
Remove and drain.
Put in pie shell.
Combine cheese, flour, salt and cayenne.
Stir in beaten eggs and milk.
Pour over onions and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
