Three Month Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. salt
4 Tbsp. alum
4 Tbsp. pickling spice
4 c. white sugar
1 gal. sliced cucumbers
water (enough to cover)
Preparation
-
Cover and let set 3 months; shake everyday.
Wash and drain. Add 4 cups sugar; let set 1 week.
Ready to eat.
