Working Girl Batter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. warm water
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in the warm water.
    Add remaining ingredients. Add milk slowly to make a sticky batter.
    Spoon batter into greased muffin pan and bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    This is one you don't have to let batter rise.
