Italian Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour, sifted
1 can fruit pie filling
Preparation

Mix together sugar and oil.
Add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Mix in salt and vanilla.
Sift flour and add 1 cup at a time.
Beat well.
Spread 3/4 of batter onto a greased cookie sheet.
Cover with pie filling.
Dribble remaining batter over pie filling.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares.
