Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 c. cut up green peppers (optional)
    1 c. sliced onions (optional)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, green peppers, onions and salt.
    Place in covered container and refrigerate overnight.
    Make brine by boiling sugar, vinegar and celery salt.
    Cool completely.
    Pour over cucumbers.
    Do not remove any of the juice that comes from cucumbers.
