Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    3/4 stick melted butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (11 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar or American cheese
    1 (12 oz.) carton half and half or 8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    3/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes and spread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Mix next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes.
    Top with crushed cornflakes and drizzle butter over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, uncovered.
    Serves 12.
