Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. nuts
    juice and rind of an orange (add water to make 1 c.)
    1 c. chopped cranberries
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and egg.
    Add grated rind.
    Put juice in a measuring cup and fill with water to make 1 cup of liquid.
    Mix into creamed mixture.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Add nuts and cranberries.
    Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
