Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft Crisco
    1/4 c. margarine (room temperature)
    1/2 c. homemade peanut butter or store bought
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In
    a
    large
    mixing
    bowl, cream Crisco, margarine and peanut butter;
    add
    sugars
    and
    egg,
    beating until smooth. Combine dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
    Chill. Roll
    into walnut-size
    balls.
    Lightly grease a large cookie sheet and place
    balls 3 inches apart and flatten with a fork that
    has been
    dipped
    in flour, making crisscross patterns. Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
