Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mini marshmallows
    2 c. frozen strawberries with syrup, thawed
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Grease bottom only of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle marshmallows evenly on bottom.
    Thoroughly combine strawberries with syrup with dry gelatin; set aside.
    In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
    Blend on low speed until well moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Pour batter over marshmallows. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
