South-Of-The-Border Oven Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe

8 skinned boned chicken breast halves
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
1 (4.5 oz.) can chopped green chiles (undrained)
1/4 c. chopped green bell peppers (optional)
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Colby cheese
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0. Place chicken in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Brush chicken with barbecue sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with green chiles and chopped green bell pepper. Bake 15 minutes more or until chicken is done. Place chicken on a serving platter, reserving drippings. Stir drippings until smooth and pour over chicken. Top with cheeses. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
