Beef In Burgundy Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. boneless beef sirloin, cut in strips
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
water
1 (1 oz.) pkg. brown gravy mix
1/4 c. dry red wine
3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
-
Brown meat and onion in margarine.
Meanwhile, drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
Add enough water to mushroom liquid to measure 1 cup.
Add to meat with gravy mix and wine.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Serve over rice.
