English Muffins In A Loaf(Makes 2 Loaves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    cornmeal
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups flour (may use 1 1/2 whole wheat and 1 1/2 white flour), yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat milk and water to 120\u00b0. Add to dry mixture; beat well.
    Stir in enough flour to make a very stiff batter.
    Spoon into two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans that are greased and sprinkled with cornmeal.
    Sprinkle tops with cornmeal.
    Cover; let rise in warm place 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans immediately and cool.
