Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening or oleo
    2 eggs
    1 c. thick sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. white or 2 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla or lemon
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    May substitute whole wheat flour.
    Add enough to make a drop cookie.
    When using white flour, can be used as a rolled cookie. Mix in order of ingredients.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
