Seafoam Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pears, drained (save juice)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 large lime gelatin
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Drain pears and mash; set aside.
    Measure pear juice and add water to equal 2 cups.
    Combine dry gelatin with cream cheese. Heat juice to boiling and pour over cream cheese stirring to dissolve gelatin and melt cheese.
    Refrigerate until cool and thick.
    Add mashed pears.
    Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Refrigerate until time to serve.
