Bif Teck Marchand De Vin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. steak
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. chopped shallots
    1 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. dry red wine
    salt and freshly ground pepper
    1 Tbsp. cream
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Saute shallots and mushrooms in butter.
    Blend in flour, wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup.
    Stir in cream and simmer a few seconds longer.
    Pan broil steak.
    Remove steak to platter with its pan juices.
    Pour on sauce and sprinkle with parsley and serve. Yield: 4 servings.
