Quick Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted self-rising flour
2 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/4 melted or liquid shortening
Preparation

Combine flour and sugar.
Beat egg, milk and shortening together.
Add to flour. Mix only enough to dampen dry ingredients.
Fill greased muffin pans.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.
