German Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 head chopped cabbage
1/2 to 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped onions
6 to 8 c. chicken broth
1 can mushrooms
1 Tbsp. parsley
2 diced potatoes
2 diced carrots
diced ham (if desired)
Preparation

Saute cabbage and onions in butter.
Add flour; stir.
Slowly add broth and heat over low heat until thickened.
Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
