Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or chuck
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 egg
    4 to 6 saltines, crushed
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix ingredients thoroughly, saving some of the tomato sauce. Put in a loaf pan or shape in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce on top of meat loaf.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
