Becky'S Belspring Cheese Steak Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. or (half of a 2-lb. pkg.) 8 layers, Steak-umm all beef sandwich steaks
    1 onion, slivered
    1 small green pepper, slivered
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 (1/4-inch) slices Velveeta cheese from 2 pound box
    sub buns
    tomatoes, sliced
    lettuce
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    Break frozen Steak-umm in half lengthwise, then break into bite-size pieces.
    Place in a large skillet and cook until all pink leaves meat.
    Drain grease.
    Add onion and green pepper, return to heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion and green pepper are tender, but not mushy.
    Add mushrooms and salt and pepper.
    Cook until mushrooms are heated.
    Lay on top of the meat mixture Velveeta cheese.
    When cheese starts to melt, stir thoroughly throughout the meat mixture until all of the cheese is melted.
    Serve on sub buns with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomatoes.
