Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    5 c. sliced potatoes
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Blend together salt, pepper, milk and soup.
    Layer potatoes and onions in a greased 11 x 7-inch dish.
    Pour soup mixture evenly over all.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes or until soft.
    I cover for 1/2 hour to cook potatoes and then uncover for the remainder of time.
