Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1 small chopped onion
    6 crackers
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Soak crackers in milk.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Shape into oblong patties and brown very slowly in skillet.
    After browning both sides, place in a baking dish.
    Make brown gravy from pan drippings and pour over steaks.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until done.
    Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
