Funnel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix together the milk and eggs.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour milk mixture into flour; mix thoroughly.
Test mixture to see if it flows easily through funnel.
If too thick, add milk until consistency is right.
If too thin, add more flour.
Heat deep fat in heavy iron skillet or pan.
Pour batter through funnel into deep fat.
Spiral and other shaped cakes can be made by manipulation of funnel and control of outlet finger.
Fry; drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot.
Serve hot.
Good with ice cream or with sausage and syrup.
