Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 Tbsp. butter
12 bacon slices or 1/2 lb. sausage
4 eggs
2 c. half and half
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 lb. grated cheese
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of sugar
pinch of cayenne pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0. Spread melted butter over crust.
Spread crumbled cooked bacon or crumbled cooked sausage over the bottom of crust.
Spread grated cheese over this.
Combine remaining ingredients. Beat with mixer. Pour into pie crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake for approximately 50 minutes more or until set.
