Angel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    35 Ritz crackers, crushed fine
    1 c. chopped nuts
    4 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 container Cool Whip or La Creme
    1 can shredded coconut
Preparation
    Mix crackers and nuts and set aside.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Gradually add sugar and vanilla.
    Add to crackers and nuts and mix well.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool.
    Spread Cool Whip over top and coconut. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
