Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    12 oz. grated American cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Place thawed potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Mix together the next 6 ingredients; pour over potatoes.
    Top with crushed cornflakes; drizzle melted butter over all.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
