Ingredients

1 stick margarine, at room temperature
1 c. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix softened margarine and other ingredients with a fork or with fingers.
Roll into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
Place on cookie sheet and press down with fork, making crisscross pattern.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes about 24.
