Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooked beets
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
shake of pepper
1 doz. hard-boiled eggs
Preparation

Bring all ingredients, except eggs, to a hard boil.
Pour over hard-boiled eggs.
Let stand at room temperature for 2 or more days.
