Cheese Things - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. (12 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 dashes salt
Preparation
    Mix together with hands.
    (Most of the time I let sit in refrigerator overnight or until ready to fix; makes it easier to roll.)
    Roll into balls and put on a cookie sheet.
    Press whole pecan into center of each ball.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 to 17 minutes.
    Cool on wax paper.
