Favorite Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt together.
    Cut in shortening just until evenly crumbly.
    Add lemon juice, water and well beaten egg and mix lightly.
    Roll out quickly and bake in a hot oven at 450\u00b0. Makes 2 double crust pies.
    May be stored in waxed paper and in the refrigerator for a week or two.
