Broccoli-Pasta Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. fine noodles
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. skim milk
    1 lb. light Velveeta cheese, cut in small cubes
Preparation
    Saute onions in oil.
    Add broth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add noodles.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Add broccoli and garlic.
    Boil 4 minutes.
    Add milk and cheese.
    Heat until cheese is melted. Season with pepper.
    Freezes well.
