Raw Apple Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. apples, diced
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and mix well.
Sift dry ingredients and combine with creamed mixture.
Add apples.
Spread mixture in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
