Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Stir shortening to soften.
Sift in dry ingredients.
Add 1/4 cup milk and the bananas; mix until flour is dampened or 2 minutes.
Add eggs, nuts and remaining milk.
Beat 1 minute.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 25 minutes or until done.
