Tropical Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Brazil nuts, whole
    2 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. pitted dates, whole
    1 c. maraschino cherries, drained (red and green, whole)
    3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Start oven at 300\u00b0.
    Grease loaf pan and line with wax paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine nuts, dates and cherries.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt over fruit-nut mixture and mix about with your hands until all ingredients are well coated. Beat eggs until frothy, then add vanilla.
    Pour mixture over fruit and nuts.
    Put in loaf pan and bake 1 hour and 45 minutes.
