Philly Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) jar pineapple preserves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place cheese in bowl and cream until soft and smooth.
    Blend in sugar and salt; add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Blend in milk and vanilla.
    Spread preserves over bottom of shell. Spread cheese mixture next.
    Sprinkle with pecans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 50 minutes more.
