Make Ahead Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Bring to a boil and let cool.
Soak 1 quart shredded cabbage, 1/2 green pepper and some shredded carrots for color in 2 cups cold water with 1 teaspoon of salt for 2 hours.
Drain.
Add 3 celery stalks.
Cut fine.
Then pour vinegar mixture over it. Keep in refrigerator.
