Angels Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour, sifted
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. shortening
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Dissolve dry yeast in\twarm water and combine with buttermilk.
Add to dry ingredients.
Stir\twell
and
knead,
adding
more
flour\tif necessary.\tRoll
out
on
floured board about 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter.
Brush tops with melted butter.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown.
