Sheri'S Famous Fudge-Filled Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. melted butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. M&M's (plain)
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Combine oats, flour, nuts, sugar, soda and salt; mix well. Add butter; mix until dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened and mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Reserve 1 1/2 cups.
    Press remaining into bottom of greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan (10 x 13-inch okay).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
