Snow Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 gal. clean, fresh snow
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine egg and sugar; stir well with a wire whisk.
    Add milk and vanilla, stirring well.
    Place snow in a large bowl. Gradually add milk mixture to snow, gently stirring with a wooden spoon until blended.
    Makes about 3 quarts.
